Privacy Policy

This policy covers both the Score Drummer app and the scoredrummer.com website.

The App App

Score Drummer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Everything stays on your device.

Data Storage App

• Your song library (database, MIDI files, and audio files) is stored in the app's local data directory
• Settings and preferences are saved using the operating system's standard user defaults
• No user accounts, cloud storage, or remote databases are used
• No data is sent to external servers

File Access App

• MIDI files and audio files you import are copied into the app's data directory
• Custom SoundFonts you load are copied into the app's data directory. The original file is never accessed again
• On macOS, the app runs in a sandboxed environment with access limited to user-selected files
• The app does not retain access to your files after you select them

MIDI Devices App

Score Drummer connects to MIDI input devices (electronic drum kits, controllers) for real-time input. Device names are used for display and auto-detection only. No device data is stored or transmitted.

No Tracking or Analytics App

• No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking of any kind
• No advertising SDKs or third-party tracking
• No personal information is collected

System APIs App

Score Drummer uses the following system APIs for app functionality only:

• File timestamps to manage imported files
• Disk space to check available storage before importing
• User defaults to save your settings and preferences
• System boot time for high-resolution timing used in MIDI latency measurement

In-App Purchases App

Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Microsoft Store. Score Drummer does not collect or store payment information. Purchase receipts are validated locally on your device.

Library Export & Import App

The library export feature creates a local archive file (.sdlib) on your device. Sharing this file is entirely your choice. Score Drummer does not upload or transmit it.

The Website Website

The scoredrummer.com website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate performance and traffic metrics.

Cloudflare Web Analytics:

• Does not use cookies, localStorage, or any client-side storage
• Does not track individual visitors
• Does not collect IP addresses
• Does not employ fingerprinting techniques

The collected data is limited to aggregate page load performance metrics and cannot be used to identify any individual user.

This data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. (San Francisco, CA, USA), certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Since no personal data is collected or stored, individual data access or deletion requests cannot be fulfilled as there is no personal data to retrieve.

Contact Emails Website

If you email us at support@scoredrummer.com, we use your email address to reply to your message. With your consent, we may also add you to our mailing list for product updates. We do not share your email with third parties.

Children's Privacy

Score Drummer does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app contains no social features, accounts, or data collection mechanisms.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
